have you ever experienced this syndrome? Travel thru tiger country--and the staff--of all tiger reserve from the forest gaurd upwards is convinced that their tigers are the best. Like no other. Oh you may see a tiger in Ranthmabhore, but they are tame--so went the dudhwa guys--ours are wild..
ranthambhore feels their coat is better..
Panna-the tigers were (yes were, they are gone now..forever..) were compact--more power packed in their glorious frame, pound for pound....
Kanha--oh so beautiful....
Corbett's oc course are the biggest, grandest..
Of course, the Royal Bengal tiger of sundarbans is the most superior of them all!
(incidentally, in a way i agree--for his life in the mangroves is certainly the hardest, and it must take a very special tiger to survive there..
no logic. no science. just an immense sense of pride in their tigers in their turf, under their watch. i love it..love the pride they feel in 'their tigers'..
just came from a Rajasthan trip and trust me..
